After three years of work, on the 27th of January, the project “Promoción de la Justicia y la Integridad en la Administración Pública, Pro-Integridad”, of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was finalized (came to a close).
The project "Strengthening the Preparation for El Nino phenomenon in Peru" arises thanks to an agreement signed last January 26th between Peru’s National Civil Defense Institute (INDECI), the Office of US Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The grant is for 1.3 million US dollars.
Ecoturism project supported by USAID in the regional conservation area of Tamshiyacu Tahuayo. It promotes sport fishing, wildlife viewing, local craft and food marketing.
USAID, in partnership with MINAM’s “Peru Limpio” initiative, launched a new digital communications campaign called “Gallinazo Avisa.” The campaign is focused on the population in Lima, and its goal is to raise awareness about the importance of solid waste management and trash collection, as well as to encourage action/involvement. We are all responsible of waste management and the reduction of generating garbage. as an action in favor of the environment, to live in a healthier city, with less polluted areas and cleaner air.
On November 18th was the celebration of 70 years of cooperation between the Government of the United States and the Government of Peru to improve the Health and quality of life of millions of Peruvians.
