Lawrence Rubey USAID MD together with Eduardo Amorrortu, President of the Exporters Association (ADEX), Ricardo Huancaruna, Chief of Coffee and Cacao Committee of ADEX, and Alberto Otárola, head of National Commission for Development and Life Without Drugs (DEVIDA) inaugurated the Cocoa and Coffee Pavillion at the Expoalimentaria.
Deputy Chief of Mission Lawrence Gumbiner provided remarks at the closing ceremony of the workshop highlighting the importance of Peru’s processes to mainstream gender considerations in climate change and to guarantee that women and men can have access to, participate in and benefit equally from climate change initiatives. Mr. Gumbiner highlighted the USG's support to assist the Government of Peru in taking action on women’s leadership in the context of climate change.
With great expectation the Evaluations Project of United States Agency for International Development (USAID), designed and inaugurated the Post-Graduate Program in Monitoring and Evaluation of Plans, Programs and Projects, which will be executed by the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (UPCH).
