Perú will have the VI Salón del Cacao y Chocolate Peru 2015, from July 2nd to 5th at the Convention Center of the Hotel Maria Angola in Miraflores, Lima, Peru.

This is the most important exhibition and sale space of this tasty food, and aims to integrate the different national and international operators in the value chain of Peruvian cocoa.

The Higher Education for Development program (HED) closed its activities with the conference of International Research and Experiences: Capacities for Conservation of a Changing Amazon, which took place on May 19 to 21 at the University of Ucayali in Pucallpa.

USAID and the Woodrow Wilson Center held a seminar about climate change and vulnerable watersheds in the Andes with the goal to strengthen the dialogue about climate adaptation among diverse decision makers from a variety of ministries, academia, and civil society, as a means of stimulating local development of new policy and programmatic tools that help Peru meet the financial, organizational, and political challenges that climate change presents.
