Last October 1st was the National Day of Cocoa and Chocolate in Peru, and this was the perfect occasion to prize the work of ten Peruvian producers of cocoa, who were awarded with The Search for Peru’s Golden Cocoa 2014 (Buscando el Cacao de Oro del Perú 2014), in recognition for cultivating the finest, flavored and aromatic cocoa beans of the country.
Peruvian agriculture researchers will receive the support of experts from the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) thanks to the Cooperative Research Project on Climate Change and Agriculture, which was signed today.
BIG MAXIMUS, a regional quad rugby (or wheelchair rugby) championship took place between August 28 and September 1, 2014, in Niteroi, Brazil, as part of the Maximus Project, a collaboration between Arcangeles Foundation of Colombia and USAID.
The national teams from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, participated in the event, which qualified Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile to participate in the 2015 Para-Pan American games, to be held in Toronto, Canada.

USAID and CEDRO through its Digital Inclusion Program gave for the first time certificates in Digital Literacy to citizens of different communities in the San Martin region, charactherized for having little access to potentially transformative technologies.
