Leaders and senior officials from the Ministry of Health (MoH), the US Embassy, local authorities, HIV workers and community groups, and celebrities gathered today at an event to launch the first-ever HIV self-testing services in the country. The launch marks a new trend in Vietnam, where HIV-affected populations will have a new choice to test themselves for HIV in a private and confidential way, and therefore be the first to know their preliminary results.
