Technical Guidance to the TEC Members
This memo provides Technical Evaluation Committee members guidance for evaluating applications for the referenced RFP. Each member of the TEC should be familiar with the process.
Since these are RIG/Cairo approved audit firms you are to give more weight on technical evaluation based on the given evaluation criterion. Cost is not the only or a controlling factor.
The objective of this engagement is to audit the locally incurred costs of the contractor/sub-contractor under the above mentioned contract(s)/sub-contract(s).
Sample Criteria for Evaluating Audit Firms’ Proposals
Relevant and appropriate experience in auditing development partner funded projects or programs must complement academic training and professional qualification.
USAID/WBG develops the audit universes for its prime awards and sub-awards. While USAID/WBG has the prime awards universe in its records, it annually solicits from the prime awardees information on their program-implementing sub-awards in order to develop the sub-awards’ universe.
