Monday, August 1, 2016

Supported by USAID’s regional Asia’s Regional Response to Endangered Species Trafficking Program, 150 leaders of the Municipal Youth Unions and Provincial Youth Unions pledged to protect Vietnam’s wildlife at a “Youth for Wildlife Protection” seminar organized by the Central Youth Union and Vietnam National Volunteer Centre. The seminar raised awareness about the importance of biodiversity conservation and wildlife protection in Vietnam.  The delegates signed a wildlife protection pledge, promising not to trade, consume or exploit wildlife and to raise awareness about conserving the country’s biodiversity and endangered species.
