ANNUAL SALARY:  Ordinarily Resident (OR):  FSN-8; US$12,581(Starting Salary)

Not-Ordinarily Resident (NOR):  FP-6; US$47,170(Starting Salary)

*Final grade/step for NORs will be determined by Washington.

The U.S. Mission in Hanoi, Vietnam is seeking eligible and qualified applicant for the position of Procurement Agent in the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION  

Incumbent of this position will manage all administrative procurement processes for USAID/Vietnam. He/she will manage a full range of operating expense and program support procurements for commodities and services through various procurement channels available under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures Rules and the Commercial Act.  The incumbent will perform the design, negotiation, pre-award procurement, post-award administration, and monitoring and closeout of contracts.  He/she will procure both nonexpendable and expendable property.  The incumbent will ensure all USAID purchased property and services are received, stored, distributed, properly utilized and disposed of according to USG and Agency regulations and serve as the USAID point of contact for all property records, asset management, maintenance schedules and inventory exercises.
