The 30 largest energy intensive enterprises in Kazakhstan are joining government agencies to learn new techniques for complying with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Improvement. Speakers at the Central Asian Energy Efficiency Program conference presented ways to reduce energy use, their international experiences with implementing industrial energy efficiency policies, and the results of energy management system audits conducted at several of Kazakhstan’s largest industrial companies.
