USAID supports a regional approach to economic recovery in Côte d’Ivoire, with a focus on increasing agricultural productivity and decreasing trade barriers that will help the country return to its pre-crisis economic prosperity.  USAID helps farmers and firms to compete, attract investment to the region, and boost their regional and global trade. USAID is also providing assistance to the Government of Côte d’Ivoire to meet their obligations under the World Trade Organization Trade Facilitation Agreement. In addition, USAID works in partnership with the European Union to promote Property Rights and Artisanal Diamond Development.
