USAID Welcomes New Mission Director to Bosnia and Herzegovina

October 7, 2015, Sarajevo – The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is pleased to announce the arrival of its newly appointed USAID Mission Director for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Peter Duffy.
 
As Mission Director, Duffy oversees the largest portion of the U.S. Government’s civilian assistance budget to BiH, totaling $28 million in 2015. His arrival signals the U.S. Government’s ongoing commitment to our bilateral relationship and to promoting the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration by fostering more effective and accountable institutions that meet citizens’ needs and creating a competitive, market-oriented economy that provides better economic opportunities for all citizens.
 
USAID to Demonstrate Radical Transparency in Flood Recovery Assistance in Bosnia and Herzegovina

U.S. Government officials – U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director David Barth and U.S. Military Attaché to BiH Col. Scott Miller – will visit Doboj and Doboj East municipalities on Thursday, October 9, 2014, to highlight the importance of radical transparency in the distribution and implementation of the $14.7 million in flood relief and recovery assistance from the American people.
