USAID / Peru receives award from the French Academy of Chocolate and Confectionery

The prestigious French Academy of Chocolate and Confectionery has just delivered to the Alternative Development Program of USAID/Peru the award for the institution that has made a remarkable or outstanding work on behalf of farmers and the development of the cocoa production chain.

The award ceremony was held in Paris, France on April 28 and Celine Portnof, USAID representative, received the award. During her speech she showed some pictures of farmers, field work, as well as pictures of the visit by the delegation of French chocolatiers to the San Martin Region in 2013.
