In its Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS, 2014-2018) the Mission’s critical assumptions included a major earthquake as a “game changer” that would affect implementation of its strategy, possibly necessitating a revision. This Annex integrates a Transition Objective into the CDCS, to capture USAID’s earthquake recovery investments (financial, human, and programmatic) that cannot be accommodated within the existing results framework and that will help re-establish a development trajectory in the earthquake zone.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is soliciting proposals to provide construction services under the Nepal Community Reconstruction Program Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (NCRP IDIQ) contract for the USAID Mission to Nepal. The period of performance for this IDIQ is expected to be five (5) years, with Task Orders extending up to two (2) years beyond the period of performance of the IDIQ. USAID anticipates awarding multiple contracts under this solicitation. USAID anticipates that the maximum aggregate ordering limitation for contracts resulting from this RFP will be $200 million over the ordering period.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Nepal intends to issue a solicitation for a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Nepal Community Reconstruction Program (NCRP) with a period of performance of seven years (including Task Order implementation) and an overall ceiling of $200,000,000. USAID anticipates issuing Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Task Orders (TO) under the IDIQ for construction related services. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220.
Hamro Samman will build on the successes of USAID/Nepal’s current Combating-Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) project to improve sustainability and further strengthen Nepali institutions to address trafficking. Hamro Samman will support the GON, CSOs, and the private sector to further develop a sustainable ecosystem that provides a secure and enabling environment to reduce instances of TIP, protect the rights of exploited and vulnerable, and prosecute cases of human trafficking. Hamro Samman also will continue to emphasize a rights-based approach in supporting innovative activities and building upon successes of past USAID-funded, GON, CSO and other donors’ activities in Nepal.
