Leaders from the communities of El Tambo Huancaya, Junin, along with academic, governmental and private sector representatives visited the organic farm "Harvest of the Future". Here they appreciated successful experiences of agroforestry with native species and ' water planting and harvesting', techniques that will help address the effects of climate change. This site visit was an effort of CATIE and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
