USAID strengthens agricultural value chains and works with the private sector and government to develop a reform agenda.
- Regional Coordination on Cotton with West Africa Economy and Monetary Union: The Country 4 Cotton Partnership Project focuses on, sustainable agricultural productivity, creating new and strengthening existing partnerships, and increasing economic and social benefits to women within the “C-4” countries of Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad and Mali, where cotton is a main agricultural commodity.
- Expanded access to finance through Development Credit Authority (DCAs): Activities work closely with finance institutions to expand access to finance for small and medium sized enterprises in the agricultural and health sectors.
