TIRANA, ALBANIA--Today, Ambassador Alexander Arvizu, Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister of Interior Saimir Tahiri, and the National Anti-Trafficking Coordinator, Deputy Minister Elona Gjebrea, supported the launch of "RAPORTO! SHPETO!" ("Report! Save!"), a USAID-supported anti-trafficking in persons smartphone application that is connected to Government of Albania's New National Hotline, "116006." The Hotline "116006" is available for everyone to call in, free of charge, and report identified or suspected cases of trafficking.

TIRANA, ALBANIA--Today, U.S. Ambassador, Alexander Arvizu, and the Australian Ambassador to Albania, Mike Rann, participated in a special ceremony to provide 32 women with an Alpine goat. The goats are provided through USAID and Australian grants to provide sustainable livelihoods for rural families in the remote, mountainous villages in the district of Tirana.
VLORA--Today, U.S. Ambassador Alexander Arvizu, Albania’s Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, and Major Kristopher Mitchell, Chief of the Office of Defense Cooperation, joined hospital authorities in an inauguration ceremony marking the completion of the renovation of the Telemedicine Centers in the Vlora Regional Hospital.
