Acting Director, Center for Transformational Partnerships

Sarah Glass serves as the Acting Director of the Center for Transformational Partnerships at the U.S. Global Development Lab, which champions the Agency’s efforts to engage the private sector to advance development outcomes.

Prior to being named as Acting Director, Sarah led the U.S. Global Development Lab’s efforts to support USAID’s overall Ebola Response and Recovery Strategy by employing the use of digital technologies, open innovation approaches, and partnerships with the private sector. She also manages some of the Agency’s global relationships with multi-national corporations, and she works closely with USAID’s field offices to advise on how to best engage with the private sector.

Prior to joining USAID, Sarah was a Senior Manager with Accenture Strategy Consulting where she worked with corporations and governments on international market expansion, product innovation, strategic planning, organizational restructuring, and leveraging partners to scale. Sarah holds a BA from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
