WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Because an educated girl is a healthier girl, a girl who will care for her children, who will earn more income, who will reinvest that income into her family, her community, and her country.

  • For every extra year a girl stays in school her income can increase by 15 to 25%.
  • Educated women invest 90% of their income into their family.
  • Educated mothers are more than twice as likely to send their children to school.
  • Educated women lead to thriving societies.

AN INVESTMENT IN GIRLS IS AN INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE
