Since 1961, the United States Government, through the USAID, has supported the Philippine government to become a more stable, prosperous and well-governed nation. Our collaboration has been fruitful and filled with learning and growth. In this book, you will read 15 stories of how USAID has helped transform the lives of generations of Filipinos. Although this is not an exhaustive account of what we have achieved, it offers the reader a glimpse of the breadth of our collaboration to achieve our mutual development goals.

This Project Appraisal Document (PAD) documents the design of the USAID/Philippines Health Project 2017-2022, and serves as the reference document for the authorization and award of a new generation of health activities. USAID/Philippines developed the PAD based on an understanding of the project context, consultations with key stakeholders, an assessment of the development problem, and a review of evaluations and other analyses.

U.S. Government and Legazpi City Enter into Partnership to Promote Inclusive and Resilient Urban Growth

U.S. Embassy in the Philippines’ United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Dr. Susan Brems and Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal signed a Memorandum of Understanding on May 17, 2017 making Legazpi the seventh city in the Philippines to join USAID’s Cities Development Initiative (CDI).

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Manila, Philippines, posts this Request for Information (RFI) to inform interested parties of another upcoming tuberculosis activity designed to help the Philippines reduce and eliminate tuberculosis.

This RFI also seeks information from capable organizations (i.e., nongovernmental organizations,universities, consortium, for-profit) that are implementing or have implemented TB projects/programs and may be interested to partner with USAID in achieving the goals of this future TB activity.
