Administrator Shah Travels to Turkey to meet with Turkish officials and Visit Refugee Areas along the Turkish Border

WASHINGTON, D.C. – From November 25th-27th Dr. Rajiv Shah, Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will travel to Turkey where he will meet with senior officials to discuss the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria and assistance for those affected by the crisis.
While in Turkey, Administrator Shah will meet with senior Turkish Officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) along with representatives of the Turkish Red Crescent and the World Food Program. Administrator Shah will also travel to areas along the Turkish border and speak with individuals who have fled the violence in Syria.
