STUDENTS MEET EMPLOYERS AT USAID-SUPPORTED JOB FAIR

On Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 12:00 U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Stephen M. Haykin welcomed students and energy companies to a job fair entitled “Energy Education Programs to Support the Workforce in Energy Sector” at Georgian Technical University The job fair is supported by USAID’s New Applied Technology Efficiency and Lighting Initiative (NATELI II) Education Grants Program and aims to develop study programs in the energy sector.

The job fair brought together students of Georgian Technical University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, the International School of Economics, Grigol Robakidze University and Georgian energy companies. The event facilitated information sharing among job-seekers and energy companies, bringing together energy educators, students and potential employers in the energy sector, enabling students learn more about job opportunities, and allowing energy companies to meet potential employees.

The NATELI II Project is implemented by Winrock International Georgia.
