Ms. Boccardi currently serves as the Deputy Assistant General Counsel for USAID’s Bureau for Food Security. Prior to assuming this role, she served as Attorney Advisor in USAID’s Office of the General Counsel, where she advised USAID’s Middle East Bureau.

From 2006 to 2012, Ms. Boccardi was an associate for Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP in New York. At Debevoise, she worked on a range of corporate transactions, with a focus on energy and environmental work.

Prior to that, Ms. Boccardi worked with a women’s group in Oaxaca, Mexico and was the Manager of Communications and Research for an Internet software company in New York.

Ms. Boccardi is a graduate of Harvard Law School (Juris Doctor 2006) and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy 2006). She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University (Bachelor of Arts 2000). She is a member of the Bar in New York.
