This document is for Contract Officers, CTOs and Technical Advisors. It presents the nuts and bolts of writing scopes of work and competing, awarding, and managing task orders. It is written in a common language to facilitate communication and understanding. Its purpose is to make life easier for anyone working with a task order under an IQC and to help them to stay on the right side of FAR requirements (FAR 16.505). The specific and relevant FAR sections are referenced throughout.
