As part of the “20 Days of Action for #MomAndBaby” campaign, we held a public photo call. Photo submissions had to answer the following question: “Why are #MomAndBaby doing fine?”
We received more than 40 photos of maternal and child health program activities. They illustrated lifesaving interventions such as, nutrition, family planning, prenatal and postnatal care and WASH programs, as well as health worker involvement and more. These photos capture the incredible progress that has been made in ending preventable child and maternal deaths globally. A panel of judges voted on their favorites, and here are the contest winners. Thanks to all who submitted photos!
