USAID Acting Administrator Alfonso E. Lenhardt travels to Indiana for BIFAD Public Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Acting Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Alfonso E. Lenhardt will travel to Indiana on October 21st to attend the Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD) public meeting at Purdue University.  Acting Administrator Lenhardt will deliver opening remarks for the afternoon session of the public meeting and will participate in a Special Presidential Panel moderated by Purdue University President Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. The panel will discuss how science and innovation contribute to addressing world hunger.
 
WHAT: Crossroads:  Science, Innovation, Markets, and Policy for Feeding the World Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD) Public Meeting.
