WASHINGTON, DC -- On Monday, January 27th, USAID will launch its new framework for integrated environment and development programs, entitled "Nature, Wealth, and Power 2.0:  Leveraging Natural and Social Capital for Resilient Development".

This framework presents practical and actionable examples from around the world of how humans can not only save the planet, but profit from it at the same time. Version 2.0 has been updated to reflect the increasingly urgent needs of food security and climate change.

A distinguished panel of experts will present and comment on the framework, including Nancy Sutley, Chair, Council on Environmental Quality, the White House; Asif Shaikh, Center for Strategic and International Studies, Franklin Moore, USAID/Africa Bureau, and Eric Postel, USAID/Bureau for Economic Growth, Education, and the Environment.
