Uzbek exporters will supply to Kazakhstan their horticultural products valued at more than $1 million as a result of the round table on Ways to Increase Trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which was held in Almaty last week.

Speakers at the Central Asian Energy Efficiency Program conference presented ways to reduce energy use, their international experiences with implementing industrial energy efficiency policies, and the results of energy management system audits conducted at several of Kazakhstan’s largest industrial companies.
Civil society groups across Central Asia and the CIS gathered at KIMEP University in Almaty to exchange ideas for strengthening their organizations’ ability to respond to public needs.
