WASHINGTON - U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Associate Administrator Eric Postel will travel to Nairobi, Kenya from November 28 - December 2 to lead the U.S. delegation for the second High-Level Meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC).
The high level meeting includes sessions that will discuss the role of business in the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and how governments and development partners can support responsible, inclusive and sustainable business. Postel will also participate in events to highlight the importance of domestic resource mobilization in promoting effective development cooperation.
During the visit Postel will also meet with approximately 90 innovative youth leaders from 13 countries across East Africa who are part of the President's Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
