The Stabilization Unit provides technical assistance to the APRP at the national level through the ISAF Force Reintegration Cell (FRIC), including developing and distributing a USAID Annex to the COM Reintegration Guidance.  In addition, the Stabilization Unit is pursuing a three-part strategy in support of the COM Guidance and USAID Annex: 1) building the capacity of APRP institutions and actors by leveraging USAID’s technical expertise where possible; 2) accelerating and supporting reintegration in critical campaign areas by linking APRP with USAID programs; and 3) increasing the impact of APRP’s community recovery program by ensuring that activities are rooted in community-identified sources of instability and resiliencies.
