WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Agency for International Development will continue its series of weekly seminars at the National Press Club. Tomorrow, USAID will hold its fourth seminar, entitled "Business & Human Rights: Emerging Issues on the Development Horizon."

Promoting freedom and democracy and protecting human rights around the world are central to U.S. foreign policy. The United States is committed to working with democratic partners, international and regional organizations, non-governmental organizations, and engaged citizens to support those seeking freedom. USAID's Center for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance works to promote democracy, protect human rights and international religious freedom, and advance labor rights globally. The forum will discuss opportunities, challenges, and emerging issues on the Business and Human Rights landscape.
