USAID Administrator Shah Delivers Remarks at University of Arkansas Lecture Series

Fayetteville, Arkansas – On September 9, the Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas will host U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Rajiv Shah as the featured speaker for its “Food for Thought” lecture series.  The Bumpers College is partnering with the Sam M. Walton College of Business to host the event.

Dr. Shah will deliver remarks on “Partnering with the Private Sector: A New Model of Development.” He will focus on how public-private partnerships are critical to transforming what is possible to achieve in development. From local partnerships with entrepreneurs to global alliances on food security, energy, and education, public-private partnerships are forming the foundation of a new model for development to lead the world to end extreme poverty.
