USAID Administrator Shah to Deliver Remarks at the University of Missouri

Washington, D.C. – On November 14, the University of Missouri will host U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Rajiv Shah as the featured speaker for its Christopher S. “Kit” Bond Lecture Series.

Dr. Shah will deliver remarks on American innovation and the end of extreme poverty, which will focus on the vision of American leadership in development and the progress that has been fueled by technology, innovation, and direct partnerships with local universities, scientific institutes, the private sector and civil society. 

Former U.S. Senator from Missouri Christopher S. “Kit” Bond and others will also speak at the event.

The series is sponsored by the MU Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs and provides a forum on campus for nationally and internationally recognized leaders to explore issues of contemporary significance that impact economic, science, political and security policy.
