WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Associate Administrator Eric Postel will travel to Stockholm, Sweden on April 4-5, 2016.

Postel will participate in the Fifth Global Meeting of the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding, hosted by Sweden's Minister for International Development Cooperation Isabella Lövin and Sierra Leone's Minister of Finance and Economic Development Kaifala Marah.  The Global Meeting will convene ministers and high level officials, including UN Deputy Secretary General Jan Eliasson, and civil society.  Participants will reaffirm their commitments-including through the New Deal for Engagement in Fragile States-to address fragility as a key part of achieving the 2030 sustainable development goals.
