USAID/Kosovo Program and Policy Office Director Paul Vaca helped inaugurate a new vegetable processing line at the Eurofood Vegetable Processing Company on July 14th in the village of Xerxe in Rahovec. He joined Eurofood Owner Daut Ese, Director Mehmet Shala, and Rahovec Mayor Idriz Vehapi in celebrating the installation of the new processing unit, which will allow the company to expand cultivation, increase the absorption capacities of the factory for local produce, and better meet market demand over the long-term.  A cost-sharing USAID Agriculture for Growth and Rural Opportunities (AGRO) program grant of 63,000€ helped Eurofood purchase the new processing line, which is also expected to create new jobs at the company.  Established in 1999 in Prizren, Eurofood is one of the largest processing companies in Kosovo, with 40 permanent employees
