USAID has signed a cooperative agreement with Fondacion CEED Albania for their new $1,037,931 AgroTourism program supported by USAID and the Embassy of Sweden in Tirana and financed through a cost share. This program will support the creation of replicable agrotourism models in three northern areas of Albania: Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe, and Puka. These areas were chosen both for their tourism potential as well as their extreme poverty and need for economic growth and investment.
