Campaign to Educate Public on New Misdemeanors Law Kicks off

BELGRADE – Ambassador Michael D. Kirby and Minister of Justice Nikola Selaković kicked off an educational outreach campaign for the new Law on Misdemeanors at a press conference on May 7, 2014.  Dragomir Milojević, President of the High Court Council and the Supreme Court of Cassation, and Zoran Pašalić, President of the Appellate Misdemeanor Court, also participated in the announcement.  

Competitiveness of Civil Society Organizations as Social Care Services Providers

Civil society organizations (CSOs) provide nearly one-third of all local social care services in Serbia and have higher networking potential, according to the results of “Comparative study of local social service deliverers in Serbia,” presented today at restaurant “Martaan” in Belgrade. NOVI SAD – The first ICT Cluster Academy was launched in Novi Sad today. Through training, specialized courses and practical work, the students of the Academy of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) will acquire the knowledge and skills that will enable them to find employment more easily. Upon completion of the six month training, the students will receive internships in firms that are members of the Vojvodina ICT Cluster.
