USAID Administrator Mark Green Travels to UNGA

U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green will travel to New York City, September 18-21 to participate in the 72nd United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). 

Administrator Green will meet with bilateral and multinational partners to discuss a variety of issues, including key global health initiatives such as the President's Malaria Initiative and Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, the global response to famine and food insecurity, and stabilization efforts in Iraq and Syria.

Administrator Green will be accompanied by Acting USAID Deputy Administrator Wade Warren; Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Africa Cheryl L. Anderson; Assistant to the Administrator for the Bureau for Food Security Beth Dunford; Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance Robert Jenkins; Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Economic Growth, Education, and Environment Michelle Bekkering; Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Economic Growth, Education, and Environment Charles North; Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Global Health Irene Koek; Acting Executive Director for the U.S. Global Development Lab Harry Bader; Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau of the Middle East Maria Longi; and Acting Assistant to the Administrator for the Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning Susan Fine.
