Astana, September 19, 2014 – The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) announce the launch of the first Kazakhstan chapter the AEE Membership Association. AEE’s Kazakhstan Chapter will provide training and networking opportunities for Kazakhstani experts to help accelerate energy efficiency across the country.

The AEE is the leading global organization providing information and networking opportunities for professionals in energy engineering, energy management, power generation, energy services, and more. The AEE Kazakhstan Chapter connects members in Kazakhstan with 16,000 professionals in 90 countries, and provides access to AEE’s internationally-known energy certification programs and expertise.

The AEE Kazakhstan Chapter brings together leading energy practitioners and decision makers from government, business and education sectors across the country to help achieve the common goal of increasing energy efficiency and implementing Kazakhstan’s National Energy Strategy.
