CIO Role on Program Governance Boards

The Chief Information Officer is a member of three governance boards with oversight described in the Common Baseline.

Management Operations Council (MOC)
The CIO is a voting member of the MOC as one of the Business Process Executives. The CIO implements processes and systems within the assigned areas of responsibilities, incorporating standards set by the MOC. MOC Charter

IT Steering Subcommittee (ITSS)
The CIO is co-chair of the ITSS, chartered by the MOC to advise the MOC on the portfolio of USAID’s IT investments. ITSS processes in ADS 577

Management Control Review Committee (MCRC)
The CIO is a member of the MCRC, chartered with authority described in OMB Circular A-123, Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control. MCRC Charter
